Day 1 - Depart from London Heathrow on your scheduled Qantas flight, with free food, drinks and entertainment all the way. Enjoy the journey.

Day 3 - After a break in Singapore or Bangkok arrive early in Sydney for an exciting four night stay in this amazing city.

The Travelodge Sydney is superbly located close to Sydney’s own Hyde Park. From here you can explore everything the city has to offer - the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Botanical Gardens, Bondi Beach and much more. Or travel further afield to the wondrous Blue Mountains, with a stop at a wildlife park on the way to see kangaroos, koalas and a host of native species.

You’ll find Sydney easy and fun to get around by foot, public transport or even harbour ferry. In between sightseeing and shopping be sure relax in the cafés and alfresco restaurants that seem to appear on every corner.

Day 7 - Head back to Sydney Airport today for your three hour flight to Cairns in beautiful North Queensland. A window seat is likely to offer some spectacular views of the coastline and Reef.

Your hotel in Cairns is the excellent Mercure Harbourside beside the Esplanade and close to the shops, cafés, bars and restaurants of this friendly holiday town. Enjoy a stroll to the marina and pier or laze on the palm fringed beaches just north of the town.

From Cairns you can also explore World Heritage listed rainforest and the lakes and waterfalls of Atherton Tablelands but be sure not to miss a trip to the Great Barrier Reef. Day cruises usually include snorkelling or glass bottom boat rides for a close up view of the fabulous coral formations and colourful tropical fish - an incredible and unique experience you’ll remember forever.

Day 11 - Say a reluctant farewell to Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef region as you head back to the UK on your scheduled Qantas flight.
